A bright image for a dreary day. It’s Thanksgiving Day in Canada and quite dreary.
I’ve been thinking about chronobiology recently and why I have gradually migrated to going to sleep at 2030-2100 and awakening at 0330 or so. Sometimes I can delay awakening until maybe 0400-0430 but most often I am awake in the early hours of the morning. There is a lot of informaiton on setting the biological clock so that one can get to sleep normally at night. That’s not my problem. I can fall asleep without problem. It’s the early awakening that gets me. I wonder if light exposure at night (instead of avoiding light in the evening hours) would help. Maybe something to experiment with. Possibly increasing the amount of ligh after 1930 or so would help delay the onset of sleepiness.
Over the years I have followed Andreas Spiess’ excellent YouTube series. You know, “The Guy with the Swiss Accent?” About a year ago he announced his plans to slow down on the regular release series. However yesterday he released a video about an autonomous end-to-end process for ESP32 development using Clause and a complex hardware harness for unattended specifications-driven development. I have to let this percolate for a while. He uses a Raspberry Pi to act as the programmer and hardware test bench. But I’m not entirely sure why, unless it is for better isolation from the LLM agent which is operating in a Proxmox VM. Something to consider:
